Please join me in celebrating the launch of my self-published book, The Startup of Seinfeld: A Multimedia Approach to Learning Entrepreneurship. The basic premise is to present various entrepreneurial/business principles (based on theory, research, and experience) and then to house those in an example using Seinfeld clips, with a QR code and link to the relevant clip contained in the text itself. I think the maximum value (and innovativeness) of the book comes with this multimedia approach, in addition to presenting these entrepreneurial concepts in a popular context to help readers better relate to the material. By combining text, graphics, and video, I think this book adds a new twist to "edutainment" and could be a real trendsetter for the future of books in general. In particular, this type of book could easily be used in the classroom (which I have been doing for years), especially as education shifts to a more digital, video-based platform.
