    Description

Despite both its clarity and practical importance, the study of organization design has received relatively little attention from the 1980s until relatively recently. However, the study of organization design has recently gone through a renaissance with scholars examining the topic through a variety of novel lenses and tools. Despite this upsurge in popularity, publishing organization design papers in leading journals can be highly challenging. In this PDW, our panelists will share their stories of publishing papers on organization design and discuss the challenges they faced and how they overcome them. Participants will get the opportunity to ask questions to panelists and engage in a discussion on practical approaches they can pursue to successfully publish their work in organization design and avoid common pitfalls.

This PDW is organized by Daniel Albert (Drexel U), Jaeho Choi (U of Pennsylvania), John Eklund (U of Southern California), and Saerom Lee (U of Pennsylvania).
