I'd like to bring to your attention a panel session to be hosted at the SMS that will bring together industry experts as well as scholars on topics surrounding mergers and acquisitions (M&As). Panelists will comment on the unique challenges of Mergers and acquisitions (M&As) today and provide insights into the role of CEO and governance-related factors in managing conflict and crisis during the M&A process.
Our panelists include two industry experts: Robert Mancini (RMG Capital) and Paolo Vicinelli (GAMCO Investors); and two academics: Shavin Malhotra (U. of Waterloo) and Will Mitchell (U. of Toronto).
The session is titled Managing the M&A Process in Tumultuous Times: The Role of the CEO and Governance and will take place at the Strategic Management Society 41st Conference on September 20th at 11:30 AM EDT.
