We are seeking to appoint a high-calibre individual at the Associate Professor level in the Strategy and Organisation (S&O) subject group within the Management Division of Leeds University Business School (LUBS). The school is internationally renowned for the quality of its teaching, research, and facilities. As a triple accredited, top-ranking European business school, it has more than 3000 students from around 100 countries and more than 200 academic staff. Its work covers the full spectrum of business disciplines, teaching undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students and creating new knowledge.

The S&O subject group and the affiliated Centre for Technology, Innovation and Engagement (C-TIE) are the focal points for strategy and organizations studies education and scientific inquiry at LUBS. With its collegial and vibrant team of scholars, the S&O group aspires to become one of the leading faculties working at the intersections of strategic management, organisational theory, and innovation management. For the new position that has opened, we are looking for a well-rounded academic who has published in top-tier journals and can contribute to the group's reputation for excellent teaching and engagement with practice. While we have preference for candidates with interest in corporate and competitive strategy, corporate leadership and governance, knowledge and innovation, and more emerging areas such as sustainable business practices and diversity, equity and inclusion, we are open to reviewing applications from candidates with interest in the broader strategic management space.
