The Behavioral Theory of the Firm at 10: The Neo-Carnegie Scholars’ View
Overview: The goal of this symposium is to explore the past, current and future of the behavioral theory of the firm. In doing so, we invite four neo-Carnegie scholars who were the authors of The Behavioral Theory of the Firm published at Academy of Management Annals (Gavetti, Greve, Levinthal and Ocasio, 2012) ten years ago. During the session, we create a platform to hear what they wrote in the paper, what research has been done for the last ten years since their publication and which research topics should be pursued to advance and extend the theory in the context of the 21st century.
