#STRongerTogether - STR Meet a Method: Difference-in-Difference Models in Strategy Research

When:  Feb 11, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:30 (ET)
Associated with  Strategic Management (STR)

Dear STR members,

I hope that you are well! The next panel from the "Meet a Method" series will take place on February 11th from 10 – 11:30 am ET.

The "Meet a Method" workshop series is a monthly event focusing, each time, on one research method and its applications to strategy research. This series of workshops aims at introducing a set of methods as well as providing participants with concrete examples and guidance on the (mis)application of the methods.

In this workshop Evan Starr (University of Maryland) will host a panel with two scholars at the frontier of understanding what can go wrong in difference-in-difference and staggered adoption designs and what to do about it:

- Andrew Goodman-Bacon (Vanderbilt University), panelist

- Jonathan Roth (Brown University), panelist

Please register here to attend the event:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Given the applied nature of the workshops we encourage registered participants to send, ahead of time, questions that you'd want the panelists to address during their discussion.  Please direct all questions to Tomasz Obloj at obloj@hec.fr.

We are looking forward to seeing you all on February 11th from 10 – 11:30 am ET!
