#STRongerTogether: First Annual Asian Americans in Business Academia – Empowerment Session

When:  May 27, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 (ET)
Associated with  Strategic Management (STR)

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. In recognition of the contributions and influence of Asian Americans scholars both past and present, we invite you to join us for our First Annual Asian Americans in Business Academia Initiative. Given the unique challenges Asian Americans continue to confront during the pandemic, our goal is to create a community within the fields of strategy and management to foster deeper discussions and honest engagement surrounding issues affecting Asian Americans in business academia.

As the second of a two-part series, we are delighted to have a panel of three Asian American scholars who will be applying their research to help empower Asian Americans and those who support Asian Americans.

1)     Laura Huang (Associate Professor – Harvard Business School)

2)     Michael Kraus (Associate Professor – Yale School of Management)

3)     Julia Lee Cunningham (Assistant Professor – Ross School of Business)

Our goal is to equip participants with a set of actionable strategies to combat various challenges that they may encounter.

Part II will take place on May 27 (Thursday) at 10:00 am ET. Please register for the event HERE by May 26. We highly encourage you to forward this event to your friends and colleagues.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing you there!
