    Dear STR Member and Friend:

From Ph.D. student (late stage) to acclaimed senior scholar, your STR Division is seeking nominees for all of its committees. Now is the time to nominate future STR leaders – and self-nominations are welcome too!

In addition to the usual division-level leadership (Assistant Program Chair and Executive Committee Representatives-at-Large), this year STR is seeking direct nominations for five other committees, encompassing a great variety of profiles:

    • The Research Committee seeks cutting-edge scholars with an eye for research quality (including via reviewing and editorial experience) to judge the Best Papers in the conference program and the Best Dissertation.
    • The Teaching Committee seeks excellent teachers and educational innovators to organize workshops and advise fellow division members on teaching matters.
    • The Global Representatives Committee seeks colleagues who will act as bridges between their region (in particular Oceania and Asia) and the rest of the division, and organize a conference workshop.
    • The new Membership Engagement Committee seeks members with a diversity of backgrounds and interests, to lead STR social and social-academic activities during the conference.
    • The Awards Committee includes the most senior scholars and intellectual leaders in strategic management who deliberate about career awards.

To nominate people for these committees, visit https://apps.aom.org/DivNomination now and select "Nominate Now" for Strategic Management. You can peruse further information about each role, and enter all the nominees you see fit. Nominations will remain open until February 27.

This is an exceptional opportunity to have a say in the future of your division. STR needs your best nominees!

On behalf of the STR membership and Executive Committee,
