Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Position in Strategy
About the Position:
The Management & Organization Group at Özyeğin University, Istanbul, Turkey, is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in Strategy (preferably specializing in the management of multinationals, cross-cultural management, or entrepreneurial strategy and/or startups). The position will begin in September 2025 or later.
We are seeking candidates who have a strong international research record or demonstrate potential to establish such a record, with publications in leading academic journals. Candidates are expected to teach strategy courses in undergraduate and graduate programs, contribute to curriculum and program development, and actively engage in the academic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality research for publication in top-tier academic journals in the field of strategy.
- Teach strategic management courses in undergraduate and/or graduate programs (MBA, Executive MBA and PhD). The teaching load for this position is determined based on the university's workload policy.
- Contribute to service activities, including student mentoring, committee membership, and engagement with the academic and business community.
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD or equivalent degree in Strategy, Management, or a related discipline
- Strong collegial skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues
- A proven record of scholarly achievements with publications in top-tier journals, or strong potential to develop such a record for junior candidates
- Excellence in teaching strategy courses at either the graduate or undergraduate level.
