    Samford University's Brock School of Business invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian university environment to apply for an Assistant/Associate faculty position within the Entrepreneurship, Management, and Marketing department. This tenure-track faculty position is a nine-month appointment that will begin in August 2020 at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. All functional areas of business will be considered, but preference will be given to applicants with Sports Business teaching interests in Management, Marketing, and Sales.

    Applicants for this position must exhibit strong teaching skills and be committed to maintaining an ongoing research effort. The normal teaching load for faculty is three (3 credit) courses per semester, and research is required, although research expectations are reasonable and commensurate with the teaching load. Summer teaching and competitive research grants are also available. A commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, students and colleagues is expected. Qualified candidates will either A) hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB and regionally accredited institution with teaching experience in a sports business curriculum / program or B) hold an earned doctorate in a sports related field and have faculty experience at an AACSB and regionally accredited business school.
