    ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT AND PUBLIC POLICY

    (Non-tenure accruing – 3-year renewable contract – fiscal year appointment)

    The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) invites applications for specialized teaching position at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor in Strategic Management and Public Policy (SMPP) starting as early as August of 2020. We invite applications from candidates with strong teaching credentials in Business Ethics, Business Government Relations, Public Policy, and/or Corporate Social Responsibility. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Business Government Relations, broadly defined.

    Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will teach a six course load, perform service within GWSB, and be expected to develop and teach 1-2 electives online including Business Government Relations and/or Corporate Governance and Ethics.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Applicants for this position must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. or other terminal degree in business or a closely related field by the date of appointment. Applicants must have demonstrated potential for success as evidenced by teaching and service in the area of Business Ethics, Public Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, and/or Business Government Relations.
