    Dear Colleagues,

The STR Teaching Committee would like to support you during this tumultuous time. Many of you have extensive experience delivering high quality learning experiences online. Many of us are stepping into this virtual classroom for the first time. Hakan Ener recently shared a post with some online resources, which we greatly appreciate, and we'd like to collect more resources, experiences, and best practices from you.

Please reply to this post with any recommended online resources or suggestions that would be helpful when designing/executing online courses. This could be effectively delivering online lectures, managing group projects and presentations, facilitating online discussions, online experiential activities, technology dos and don'ts, etc.

We will organize your submitted content in the 'Online Teaching Resources' Folder, which is under the 'Resources' tab above.

Thank you in advance for your help making this transition a little more manageable. Stay well.

    Dear colleagues,

If you are about to transition to online teaching in a very short time and have not done it extensively before, I have written a blog post on how to set up your software (Zoom) and hardware environments, links to short and useful tutorials, articles on how to adapt your teaching, and several tips to improve your and participants' experience. In my post I focused on quick and pragmatic solutions.

    Best wishes,
