The STR (Strategic Management) Division is seeking applications to join the STR Ambassador Team at the 2024 AOM Annual Meeting in Chicago.
STR Ambassadors will support the STR program organizers, distribute promotional material at some STR events, represent the division at conference venues, and engage with other STR members.
The STR Ambassador role offers an excellent launchpad to get involved with the STR Division. It will be particularly valuable for PhD students, early career scholars, and/or members attending the AOM conference for the first or second time.
The STR Ambassador role includes:
- Opportunities to work with STR Officers and Executive Committee Members to support in-person sessions;
- Opportunities to work on STR social activities in Chicago. In the past, social activities have included the STR Happy Hour, STR Soccer game, and STR Morning Runs;
- A pre-conference welcome Zoom meeting and access to the STR Ambassador WhatsApp group – ensuring you have a network of familiar faces when you arrive in Chicago;
