    Hello everyone,

We will be hosting a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) titled "Research in R&D Management: Past Experiences and Future Trends" at the upcoming AOM Annual Meeting (only virtual mode).

The workshop is focused on recent, on-going research themes on R&D Management and is designed to bring together scholars who are doing research in the context of R&D and innovation management.

During a four-hour session, scheduled for Aug 7, 2022, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Seattle time), participants to the PDW (pre-registration is required) will have the opportunity to work closely with a group of 4 facilitators (i.e., Thomas Clauß, Emanuel Gomes, Letizia Mortara, and Andrea Urbinati), scholars who have actively shaped the state-of-art of R&D Management as associate editors or most cited scholars of R&D Management in the last 5 years. Participants will receive actionable feedback that can be incorporated in their manuscripts ahead of submission.

Participants will also get exposure to the R&D Management as a publication outlet, with Alberto Di Minin and Paavo Ritala, Co-Editors-in-Chief of the journal providing an in-depth outlook on the journal and the types of submissions we are looking to receive.

Interested participants should pre-register to the PDW by emailing giulio.ferrigno@unicatt.it by July 10, 2022. The email should include (i) name, affiliation, and current position; (ii) one facilitator/topic area preference; (iii) a preliminary draft of your research (extended abstract - 500 words in pdf), including a well-defined set of research questions, as well as an idea about methods and intended contribution.

Since we accept only a limited number of participants (up to 50 places), we encourage early registrations. Please note that the workshop is available for registered AOM participants only. Please feel free to contact us in case you have any questions.

    Best regards,

Giulio Ferrigno, Paavo Ritala, and Alberto Di Minin
