    ASST PROFESSOR, MANAGEMENT, WARRINGTON COLLEGE OF BUSINESS, UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA

    POSITION: The Management Department at the University of Florida Warrington College of Business seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a research focus on the Future of Work. Individuals selected for this position are expected to conduct research aimed at advancing our understanding of work in the future, addressing challenges of the future including, but not limited to, expected changes in the workforce, expected changes in work tasks, work environments, changes in the management of workers, factors shaping organizations' adaptation to future work, and strategic leadership of organizations.

    We expect to fill this position with a candidate who has expertise in strategic management. The hired individual must conduct high quality research that is published in top-tier journals. They must also be able to teach effectively within the discipline of strategic management and must participate in mentoring PhD students for successful placement in research-focused universities.

    This position will start in August 2025. Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    BACKGROUND: The Management Department at the University of Florida Warrington College of Business is among the most productive for research according to the 2023 Texas A&M/University of Georgia Rankings of Management Department Research Productivity (https://www.tamugarankings.com/rankings/2023-2/). Among all ranked management departments, Warrington's Management Department is No. 4 overall. In the rankings of publications per faculty, Warrington's Management Department is ranked No. 1.

    • A record of high-quality research.
    • Evidence of an active research pipeline.
    • A commitment to teaching excellence.

    Minimum requirements: Must have or anticipate receiving PhD in related fields of study before August 2025. Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/. Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire. A transcript will not be considered "official" if a designation of "Issued to Student" is visible.
