We are excited to announce that we are organizing a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) titled "Reject and Resubmit: Research on Ecosystems and Platforms" at the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting in Chicago on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM CT. We invite all scholars conducting research on ecosystems and platforms to participate in this PDW and submit their work-in-progress papers to receive targeted feedback from scholars who have successfully published on the topic. Those who want to get feedback on an early stage idea, can also sign up to receive feedback.
The aim of this PDW is to discuss the unique aspects of these research topics and how to address the challenges they pose, which often remain unclear to many scholars striving to publish in leading management journals.
We have assembled a panel of editors from various top management journals to discuss these challenges and provide guidance on how to avoid common pitfalls. Additionally, we will run a workshop where a team of junior scholars who will provide targeted feedback on a set of solicited working papers.
