We are conducting a meta-analysis on state ownership, political connections, and strategic/performance outcomes. We are searching for both published and unpublished studies including dissertations or master theses exploring these topics.
We would like to include in our study those works that provide a correlation matrix and/or regression analyses that include either state ownership (e.g., percentage government ownership, state control, privatization, etc.) or political connections (e.g., politicians appointed to firm positions, politically connected firms, etc.) and firm outcomes such as strategic actions (e.g., diversification, CSR, leverage, innovation, internationalization, etc.) and/or performance (e.g., productivity, efficiency, firm survival, market and accounting performance, etc.).
