ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT
The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track position in Strategic Management, effective Fall 2012. The rank of the appointment is open to assistant and associate professors. Salary is competitive.
Requirements: Ph.D. in Management or a closely related discipline is required, with a research focus that emphasizes Strategic Management. Additional expertise in entrepreneurship, family business, international strategy or international entrepreneurship, organizational theory, research methods, and/or technology & innovation is highly desirable. Other requirements include the demonstrated ability to pursue scholarly activities independently and collaboratively, evidence of teaching excellence, and the ability to contribute to the management curriculum. Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching strategic management and possibly other courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs, and participation in academic and professional activities. The appointee is encouraged to apply for external funding to support research endeavors. Appointment will be as an assistant or associate professor in the College's Area of Management, depending on qualifications.
