ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
The Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications and nominations for an Assistant or Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship, effective Fall 2012. The rank of the appointment is open to assistant and associate professors, with qualified applicants at the associate professor level eligible for a Rawls Endowed Professorship. Appointment as a Rawls Professor requires an academically qualified scholar of national stature with credentials and experience sufficient to qualify for the rank of associate professor. Salary is competitive.
Requirements: Ph.D. in Management or a closely related discipline is required, with a research focus that emphasizes entrepreneurship. Additional expertise in strategic management, technology & innovation, and/or research methods is highly desirable. Other requirements include the demonstrated ability to pursue scholarly activities independently and collaboratively, evidence of teaching excellence, and the ability to contribute to the entrepreneurship and strategy management curriculum. Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research, teaching entrepreneurship and strategic management courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs, and participation in academic and professional activities. The appointee is encouraged to apply for external funding to support research endeavors. Appointment will be as an assistant or associate professor in the College's Area of Management, depending on qualifications.
