    FULL TIME MANAGEMENT POSITION 2006-2007

    The Department of Management and Marketing at Monmouth University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management position, to begin in Fall, 2006.  Although applicants are expected to have an earned doctorate at the time of appointment or soon thereafter, ABDs and doctoral students in the advanced stage of their doctoral education will be considered.  Teaching load for tenure track faculty is six one-semester courses per year.  Summer teaching is available; summer research funding may also be available.

    The position requires specialization in Strategic Management, with secondary teaching/research interest in some combination of the following related areas:  management of technology, operations management, entrepreneurship, and/or global management.  Faculty are expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate level.

    Applicants will be judged on potential for excellence in teaching and research.  Salaries and fringe benefits are competitive with other AACSB schools.

    An example of a recently published article or dissertation chapter or proposal would be helpful.
