Job Description
The Schools of Business at Fordham University invite applicants for a tenure-track position in the Management Area beginning in Fall 2014. Candidates must have a PhD in Strategic Management (or a comparable area of expertise) or provide evidence of their ability to complete the doctoral degree by August 2014. This appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate level, commensurate with the qualifications of the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate should have research and teaching interest in the Area of Strategic Management. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong research record as demonstrated through publications in top academic journals and presentations at national academic conferences. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses on competitive strategies, industry analysis and strategic management at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates with an additional interest in healthcare and related fields are encouraged to apply.
Located in New York City, Fordham Business Schools offer a variety of programs of international distinction for students and practitioners of global business, including an MBA and BA with concentrations in Management, a number of MS programs such as in Quantitative Finance, Marketing Intelligence and Business Analytics, and an Executive MBA. Fordham Schools of Business have approximately three thousand graduate students enrolled on three campuses.
