An excellent place for presentation skills resources is
www.standuptrainer.com,
where you can download a PowerPoint presentation on how NOT to do a
PowerPoint presentation (called "5 Ways for Overcoming Death by PowerPoint")
and check out a very useful book:
Presenting with Style: Advanced Strategies for Superior Presentations.

I use argumentative inquiry approach of asking what argument the student
finds in the case to evaluate that. A table of questions students can
use can be adapted from this link:
http://www.business.unisa.edu.au/management/Research/irg/documents/criti
que-phd.pdf
It needs adapting from critiquing a research article, thesis or research
report to a case.

I've found the HBR article "How to pitch a brilliant idea" (Elsbach,
Sept,
2003) a good starting point for undergrads. It's quite readable and
provides good discussion points for class.

Subject: presentation skills training
Dear Colleagues,
I want to provide some basic training (20-30 minutes) on making
presentations to my final year undergrads. At this point they have
never made a presentation and I want to use cases and have them present.
I am looking for suggested videos/on-line clips and/or power point
presentations.
Thanks for the help.
Keith
