BPS Netters,
We are trying to collect blockholder ownership percentages for firms that exist in a specific industry (e.g. we want to know blockholders of all firms in industry x). We have access to old Compact Disclosure discs (which contain this information) but are concerned about formatting problems associated with using these discs (i.e. we can't read into SAS field-delineated observations). Does anyone know of databases through which one can "effectively" download blockholder ownership?
