    Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to join us for the second symposium inspired by the New Horizons in Managerial and Organizational Cognition book series.

This year's symposium is jointly sponsored by the MOC and the Research Methods divisions.

This is definitely the place to be on Tuesday morning so we hope you will consider joining us for this very exciting symposium where Gerard Hodgkinson will guide us through the landscape of methodological challenges and advances in MOC. Karen Noakes, Daniella Laureiro-Martinez and, Mark Healey will then introduce a range of methods they are using in MOC research including agent based modelling (ABM) computer simulations to explore affect and emotion; policy-capturing to explore decision making in socially, political, and morally sensitive domains; and neuroscience (fMRI) as a complement to more traditional think-aloud protocols to explore affect in deliberative processes.

There will be plenty of time for panel discussion and questions from the floor. There might also be a little prize or two!

You can get a flavour of what is to come with this open access chapter from the book that inspired the session.
