Faculty Position Openings (Three) at Alaska Pacific University
Position Details
Alaska Pacific University is seeking to fill 3 full time faculty positions, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, in the Business Administration Department starting in 2016/17 academic year. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is desired: marketing, health care administration and management, quantitative topics, investments, general management, and undergraduate and graduate research.
The Department awards graduate and undergraduate degrees in business administration and management, with emphases in health care management, nonprofit management, health care administration, finance, entrepreneurship, strategic leadership, and information communication technology. It offers one of the most successful corporate university programs in the state to Alaska Native organizations.
The graduate and undergraduate programs are accredited by IACBE. The Department is comprised of faculty members of diverse backgrounds and is able to teach in multi-disciplinary settings. It seeks colleagues who can contribute to its growing undergraduate and graduate programs. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels and must be willing to use synchronous e-Learning technologies in teaching.
Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited institution is required. Doctorate degree is preferred.
