Louisiana State University's Rucks Department of Management invites applications for a 1-year visiting instructor position in Strategic Management, beginning Fall 2015. A Ph.D./DBA in Management or a related area is required. The Department seeks applicants who have established themselves as effective instructors or have demonstrated the potential to do so.
Anticipated teaching responsibilities will be four sections per term (eight sections total per academic year), primarily undergraduate courses in strategic management.
Located in Baton Rouge, LSU is the flagship university in the Louisiana State University System. The Rucks Department of Management and the Ourso College of Business provide collegial and financial support for academic research and teaching. The College of Business offers undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs of study, emphasizes high-quality research and teaching, and maintains strong ties with the local business community. Baton Rouge provides numerous cultural and recreational amenities that enhance the quality of life for area residents. Moreover, Baton Rouge is located approximately 65 miles north of New Orleans, with easy access to the Crescent City's unique flare.
