Department of Business Administration at Middle East Technical
University (Ankara, Turkey) is seeking a new colleague at the
Assistant Professor level (rank is negotiable contingent on experience
and research evidence) for Fall, 2014.
The Department wishes to attract a candidate who has an earned
doctorate in Strategic Management or from a relevant discipline. The
successful candidate will be expected to engage in original, high
caliber research in the area of Strategic Management and demonstrate
recent publications in refereed journals which are indexed in SSCI.
Aligned with the Department’s commitment to excellence in business
education and teaching for years, a proven record of teaching
excellence is required. The typical full teaching load is 6 credit
hours per semester. Extra payment in addition to a base salary is
possible, if there is an interest in teaching at the Executive MBA
program and joint diploma program with SUNY (USA). Accommodation
within the beautiful Middle East Technical University (METU) campus is
provided as well. Money awards for publications in high quality
journals are given to faculty. Annually at least two international
conferences are paid and university provides research grants.
Performance assessment is based predominantly on research and teaching
activities.

undergraduate program in Business Administration, a joint
undergraduate program with SUNY Binghamton, full-time MBA, an
Executive MBA, and a Ph.D. program in Finance. Most of the faculty
completed their doctorates from leading research universities in USA
and Europe and is research active.
