Hello,
We would very much appreciate if the following Call for Proposals for a special issue of Group & Organization Management can be posted on the BPS net. The call appears below. I am also attaching it as a word file.
Call for Proposals for Special Issue: Group & Organization Management
Group & Organization Management is soliciting proposals from individuals interested in serving as Guest Editor(s) for its next Special Issue. Prospective Guest editor(s) will identify an appropriate special issue theme in line with GOM's agenda. If successful, they will be responsible to disseminate the Call for Papers, manage the process of review and revision. Typically, Group & Organization Management issues include four or five peer-reviewed, empirical or theoretical papers. The Guest Editor(s) will also write an 'Introduction/editorial' for the SI. They may invite papers from leading scholars who have done seminal work related to the theme of the special issue. . The Editorial team of Group & Organization Management will work with the Guest Editors to arrange referees and manage the review process. Guest Editors are expected to be at the cutting edge of knowledge in the theme area, have reviewing and some editorial experience.
Proposals should include:
- An overview of about 1000 words about the proposed theme.
- A draft Call for Papers
- Qualifications of Guest Editors, including previous editorial experience
- Plans for inviting Exemplary Contributions, suggestions for circulating a Call for Papers beyond the announcement in the Journal
