    I am teaching a course in International Strategy formulation at the MBA level. This course will go beyond the basic "International Business Environment" course. Would anyone be able to send me their syllabus and suggestions for textbook/readings?

    I don't have a syllabus for you, but I do have a suggestion or proposal. I am interested in having your students join my students in an online business simulation game. I will take care of the administration. You just arrange for your students to participate and give them points towards grades for their performance. The demo is available at: http://pages.towson.edu/precha/geonetd5.exe.
     
    You must have Microsoft's .NET Framework, Version 1.1+, installed (downloadable free from http://www.msdn.com) to run the demo. When the demo runs, register under a fictitious name of your choosing, and do anything you like, as it's just a demo.
     
    This invitation is extended to any other interested strategy professor on this list. There is no charge for participating, but schedules, courses, pedagogical objective, and the like must be compatible.

    Hi, there:

     

    I will be teaching a capstone course called International Business Strategy for our new Global MBA this fall for the first time in <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Houston</st1:place></st1:city> area.  We plan to focus on value creation through strategic formulation and implementation in the global marketplace and plan to use an international consulting project for this course.  We'd like to include a leadership component in the course.

     

    I wonder if any of you could kindly share with me your suggestions concerning textbook, syllabus, cases, simulation and readings.  I will try to summarize the search result and share that with you at the end of this month.
