    We invite you to attend our PDW, "Management Scholars and India- An Open Dialogue" scheduled for
    Saturday, Aug 8 2009 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Hyatt Regency Chicago in Skyway 265

    This is a professional development workshop designed to start a dialog amongst academy members who share a broad level interest in India. If you research Indian organizations, use Indian data or want to know how to get access to Indian organizations and colleagues, this is the workshop for you. A panel of speakers will share their research experiences in the Indian context in a variety of areas including current corporate governance challenges and opportunities, empirical research in pharmaceutical and IT industries, and more broadly, identify the burning research questions being addressed by management scholars who are on the ground in Indian business schools. We will also discuss some opportunities in the teaching and consulting arenas for example, executive MBA student experience in setting up non-profit organizations funded by US philanthropists, There will be time for audience participation and Q&A and facilitation of informal interest groups around emerging themes.
