Postdoctoral Research Associates in Business

The Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a postdoctoral research associate in Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship starting Fall, 2018. In addition to the Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship group, our department is a vibrant and diverse interdisciplinary community consisting of Information Systems, International Business, Marketing, Organization Behavior, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, and Process Management. For this Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship postdoctoral position, preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Strategic Management or a related field such as Economics. This postdoc will be situated in our department but will have access to the broader scholarly resources of the college and university.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate is a two-year position. Applicants must have completed a doctorate in business or a related discipline prior to beginning the position and should be research focused. Postdoctoral research associates are also invited to audit courses and are encouraged to participate in the department's scholarly seminars and other intellectual activities.
Postdoctoral research associates will have the opportunity to work with faculty in the Department of Business Administration and other areas throughout the university, and to pursue their own research. All postdocs will have a research budget that may be further augmented through university grants. The salary is competitive with other postdoc programs, and postdoc research associates have access to University health care plans. Postdoctoral research associates are expected to teach two classes per year and to engage in an active research agenda.
