The East Carolina University College of Business is pleased to invite
applications for the Thomas D. Arthur Chair in Leadership. The candidate
selected as the Thomas D. Arthur Leadership Chair will be expected to
enhance the college's national reputation through research, faculty
development, and internal & external outreach. The successful candidate will
have teaching responsibilities (2,2) in the Department of Management,
specifically Strategic Management. Appropriate service to the university,
community and profession is expected. Applicants are required to hold a
Ph.D. or DBA degree in business from an AACSB accredited College of Business
and have an established record of publication in the field of leadership.
Appointment will be at either the associate or full professor level. Initial
appointment to the Chair will be for 5 years and may be renewable.
