The East Carolina University Department of Management invites applications to fill a full-time, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will teach some combination of undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management, and online teaching is a possibility. Standard teaching load is 3/3 with relatively small class sizes and up to 2 preparations. This person will be expected to perform scholarly research leading to publication in the area of specialization as required for tenure; to provide service to the university, community, and profession; and to perform any other typical service duties as assigned by the department chair. Excellence in teaching is expected. Appointment is at the Assistant rank with competitive salary and research support.
A PhD or DBA in business from an accredited business school is required; however, ABDs very near completion and with significant qualifications may be considered for initial employment as Teaching Instructor.
