The Paul Merage School of Business
Strategic Management Position
The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California,
Irvine anticipates filling a tenure track Assistant, tenured Associate
or Full Professor position in Strategic Management to begin on July 1,
2008. Applicants must have an earned doctorate (entry level candidates
can be near completion) and a strong commitment to strategic management
research and teaching. Applicants should be able to teach
undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral courses in the strategic management
area. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
The Merage School offers an interdisciplinary scholarly environment in
the active and innovative business community of Orange County. Current
faculty strategy members include Philip Bromiley, Yan Gong, David
Obstfeld, and Margarethe Wiersema. The closely affiliated organizations
group includes Christine Beckman, Kristin Behfar, David Blake, Christina
Gibson, Jone Pearce, Lyman Porter, and Claudia Schoonhoven. The Merage
School places its Ph.D. student graduates in the best research
universities, and US News ranks the MBA Program in the top 40. To learn
