Lecturer Position in Strategic Management at Bentley University

The Management Department at Bentley University is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track, full-time position at the rank of Lecturer beginning in Fall 2015. The Lecturer contract is renewable yearly and carries a four-course teaching load in both the Fall and Spring semesters. While class sizes may vary, Management courses are capped at 36 students. The successful applicant must be an excellent teacher and must be able to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in Strategic Management. Ability and willingness to teach a variety of management courses will also be viewed as valuable by the department. In addition, the Management Department is looking for an individual who is interested in working with students outside the classroom in a variety of capacities (e.g., advising students, engaging outside speakers, advising student organizations, or other relevant activities). Information about the Management Department is available at http://www.bentley.edu/academics/departments/management.

Candidates must have at least an MBA or a Master's Degree in a related field and previous successful teaching experience, preferably at the undergraduate and graduate levels at an accredited business school. Preference will be given to candidates with a completed PhD.

Interested candidates must submit a CV, letter of interest, and teaching evaluations, electronically to https://jobs.bentley.edu/. Candidates will be asked to enter information for references during the application process but references will be contacted only after the applicant pool has been narrowed.

For best consideration, please submit your application by February 28, 2015. Review of applications will begin immediately after this date.

Bentley University requires reference checks and may conduct other pre-employment screening.
