Job Announcement. The Department of Marketing and Management in the <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Business Administration</st1:placename> at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Texas</st1:placename></st1:place> at El Paso (UTEP) is inviting applications for an open position in Management at the assistant professor rank with emphasis in entrepreneurship, small business management, and/or international management. The expected starting date will be fall 2009. This will be a tenure track position. Salary and benefits are AACSB competitive and appropriate for experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include scholarly research and publishing findings in academic journals related to entrepreneurship, small business management, and/or international management; good pedagogy; and service on faculty committees.
Qualifications. Knowledge of entrepreneurship, small business management, and/or international management reflected in prior publications and/or work experience is highly desirable. Good interpersonal and communication skills are important. Minimum qualifications for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank is a completed PhD in a related field by start date.
