Dear BPS Colleagues:
The 2010 Industry Studies Conference will be held May 6-7, 2010 in
Chicago, Illinois at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and I am
writing to encourage you to consider contributing to the conference
this year. The Call for Papers is attached. The deadline for abstract
submissions is December 7, 2009:
http://www.industrystudies.pitt.edu/chicago10/
The conference is organized by the Industry Studies Association, which
brings together scholars from many disciplines who have deep knowledge
of industries. Scholars in business policy and strategy have made
significant contributions to industry studies and have been key
participants in previous conferences. If you're a regular participant
in the Industry Studies Conference, I hope you'll join us again. If
you haven't been before, you might visit the Industry Studies
Association website at
http://www.industrystudies.org/ and take a few
minutes to learn about the association, the conference, and the kinds
of research done under the industry studies umbrella.
I hope that you'll consider submitting an abstract for this
conference, and further, that you will be able to attend.
Best wishes,
Melissa Appleyard
