    Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Management (OB/HR or Strategic Management) or a closely-related field

    A strong record of research productivity, teaching excellence and significant service accomplishments commensurate with the 

    expectations for tenure and appointment at the rank of professor

    Prior administrative experience and a record of leadership accomplishments in higher education, including the successful 

    mentoring of junior faculty

    Familiarity with and commitment to continuous improvement as outlined in the AACSB accreditation standards

    An ability to lead the engagement activities of the department

    A record of advancing diversity in higher education

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Florida State University is located in Tallahassee – Florida's capital city; a vibrant community that offers exceptional living conditions, 

    cultural activities and recreational opportunities. Founded in 1950, the College of Business is one of the nation's youngest business 

    schools, yet its reputation for excellence has helped it become one of the largest in the nation with 6,325 students. Consistently ranked

     as a top business school by U.S. News & World Report, the college offers two programs ranked among the nation's Top 10 public institutions.

     

    The college boasts 123 distinguished full-time faculty, including one Francis Eppes professor, eight eminent scholars, one university-named

     professor and 31 endowed professors. Accredited by the AACSB, the college offers eight undergraduate degrees (BS) with 10 majors, and 

    the graduate program offers five master's degree programs (MBA, MSF, MS-MIS, MS-RMI and MAcc) and seven majors at the doctoral level (PhD). 

    The college also is home to 12 research institutes and centers.
