GEM is recruiting up to 5 Chair professors
Grenoble Ecole de Management (France) is a fast growing business school located at the foot of the French Alps in a vibrant and growing metropolitan area with a strong emphasis on high-tech industries (especially IT, digital, health, energy as well as sharing economy). The School benefits from this community and has established a strong reputation in the management of technology and innovation and has the triple accreditation AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Degrees awarded include Bachelor, Masters, MBA, DBA, and PhD. Grenoble Ecole de Management is regularly ranked among the top 20 business schools in Europe.
The school will fund up to five chair-professorships as it aims to reinforce its research profile and to enhance its visibility not only in academia but also towards broader audiences. The candidate must be able to engage in a dialogue with academia as well as being engaged with a variety of stakeholders.
Candidates for the Chair-Professors are expected to have a strong research profile and to demonstrate charisma and leadership. Grenoble Ecole de Management has developed these 5-year positions which can be tenured after 4 years. During the five years contracts, in addition to attractive salary, Grenoble Ecole de Management will fund the Chair to include 2 PhDs, a post doc and reduced teaching allocation. It expects the Chair to attract a significant share of its own income after the period of five years.
Successful candidates should demonstrate their commitment and ability to conduct excellent academic research with an established international research record (at least 4-5 A rank journal articles). Applicants should also demonstrate their ability to attract funding (EU, national, and/or company sources)
