Strategic Leadership & Governance IG Paper Development Workshop

The Strategic Leadership & Governance Interest Group will be offering a half-day Ph.D. Candidate & Junior Faculty Paper Development Workshop at the 2015 SMS conference in Denver, Colorado. Although all members of the SMS are invited to participate, preference will be given to advanced Ph.D. candidates and junior faculty.
The workshop will commence with a paper development session that offers participants the opportunity to discuss their work in small groups. Participants will exchange feedback during the paper development portion, with each group's discussion being facilitated by an experienced strategic leadership and governance scholar. Each group will discuss 3-4 papers with a common theme or methodology. Following the group sessions, there will be a panel discussion on several aspects of the research process, including publication advice, the role of the reviewer, and developing a research stream beyond the dissertation.
Faculty discussants at the workshop will include: Vince Barker (University of Kansas), Craig Crossland (University of Notre Dame), Bernadine Dykes (University of Delaware), Gerry McNamara (Michigan State University), Anja Tuschke (University of Munich), and Toru Yoshikawa (Singapore Management University).
