We kindly invite you to attend the symposium "Just Another Type of "Country Risk"? International Business in Hostile Environments" on Tuesday, August 11 from 09:45 AM to 11:15 PM at Vancouver Convention Centre in Room 210. The symposium is sponsored by the IM division and the BPS division and has been selected by the BPS Division as one of the five finalists for the Emerald Best Symposium Award, 2015.

The goal of the symposium is to discuss the impact of terrorism on international business from a theoretical as well as an empirical perspective. The panel leverages the expertise of the members covering strategy, human resource management, international management, and linkages between business and civil society organizations in social and political development aimed at creating peaceful and stable societies. The session is designed for high interaction among the panelists, and between the panelists and the audience.
