    Overview of Courses and Instructors
Each CARMA Short Courses is a two and a half-day session on a research method or data analysis topic. CARMA Short Courses place an emphasis on hands-on experience and on the application of the methodology aimed at skills development through equal amount of lecture and lab-time. CARMA Laptop and Software Policy

Attendees must bring their own laptops. We switched to this approach after research with over 200 attendees indicated they were able and willing to bring their own laptops for this purpose. Our experience with this approach has been very favorable. Thus, we now officially ask ALL Short Course participants to bring a laptop (their own or one from their university) for their use while in our Short Course Program.

We hope you will find our Short Course offerings to be of interest and we would be very happy to have you participate in our instructional program at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.  Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help in any way.  Hope to see you in May!

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Larry J. Williams
CARMA Director and Professor of Psychology
