Dear colleagues,
I am writing to let you know that Ivey's PhD program is now accepting applications for the Strategy stream. This program is designed to train students to conduct cutting-edge research and place them internationally at top research institutions. Ongoing research projects look into a wide range of settings, such as music and book publishing, National Hockey League, aerospace & defense, bitcoin, manufacturing and service industries, finance, and the public sector.
In reviewing applications, we look for those students that are academically ambitious and creative, who are likely to generate excellent research. We welcome a variety of disciplinary backgrounds, including economics, sociology, political science and psychology. Please inform any students that you think are a good fit for Ivey's program, and encourage them to apply.
The Ivey PhD program offers a competitive funding package and merit-based scholarships are available as a supplement to this package. Applications will be accepted online at http://www.ivey.uwo.ca/phd/admissions-finance/apply/ until January 15, 2015.
The UT Dallas research ranking places Ivey #15 worldwide for publications in the top management journals since 2010 (Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Strategic Management Journal). Business Week recently ranked Ivey Business School #1 for MBA programs outside the United States.
