*PDW Description*
The purpose of the PDW is to stimulate research into the multilevel nature of knowledge transfer and knowledge creation within and between organizations. While research has examined the influence of social networks on innovation at different levels of analysis – the micro, meso and macro – the interactions between and joint effects of these different levels for innovation are poorly understood. This workshop aims to bring together doctoral students and faculty from multiple topical domains who share a common interest in, wish to understand better, and like to contribute to multilevel innovation networks research.
This year we will focus on the microfoundations of multilevel innovation networks. The workshop starts with four short presentations by experienced scholars who will present their research on multilevel innovation networks and the role of microfoundations in their work. Next, to help participants learn about multilevel innovation networks research and guide research in this domain, participants will discuss their own experience and interests in the topic in small groups, facilitated by the PDW presenters. The goal of this PDW is to develop a community of scholars pursuing research on multilevel innovation networks.
