    The Management Department of the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John's University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of Strategic Management at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for fall 2015.

     

    Candidates will have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. from an accredited institution by the time of employment.  Preference will be given to candidates with business experience, strong communications skills, and familiarity working closely with business executives.  They should have a demonstrated ability for quality publications and effective teaching.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

     

    The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in strategic management and management consulting, to publish in national and international journals, and to be involved in service activities.  Responsibilities will include teaching in our flagship experiential capstone course, where students work on real-life projects and present their recommendations to C-suite executives in the New York area.
