Full-time Lecturer in Management and Strategy
The Management and Organization Department at Boston College's Carroll School of Management is seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenure track teaching position as Lecturer in the areas of strategy and organizational behavior, beginning in September 2015. The faculty member is expected to teach six courses a year, as well as work with students outside the classroom setting (e.g., advising students, overseeing speaker series, and other relevant activities). Candidates with strong external ties to industry are preferred.
We are seeking candidates who have an advanced degree, such as a Ph.D. in Strategy or Organizational Behavior. A well-qualified applicant will desire a full-time teaching career, demonstrate evidence of teaching excellence at an accredited business school at both the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) levels, and be an enthusiastic participant in the Management and Organization Department and Carroll School community. Strong applicants should be versatile, with an ability to teach a variety of management courses, with a primary emphasis on strategy at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and a secondary emphasis on organizational behavior, as well as an interest in teaching strategy and organizational behavior electives.
