  • 1.  Meta-Analysis data request: The phenomena of risky shifts

    Dear researchers,

Together with prof. Roger Leenders and dr. Hans van Dijk, from Tilburg University, we are currently working on a meta-analysis on the phenomenon that groups tend to make more risky decisions than individuals (i.e. "risky-shift").

We wanted to inquire whether you have empirical works on this topic (studies that have not been published, or that are in press). As a meta-analysis attempts to assess the state of the science, we want to make sure that we include and cite all relevant studies.

For any additional questions feel free to contact me at e-mail g.dodoiu@tilburguniversity.edu

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Gabi,

I'm not clear on your question.  Are you doing a meta-analyis on polarization of risk talking or just of risky shift?  As I'm sure you and your professors know, the risky shift phenomenon is a limited special case of polarization.

    Best wishes,
    Ray
