Adjunct Faculty, Bard College, MBA in Sustainability
Bard Colleges low residency MBA in Sustainability, based in New York City, has an opening for an
Adjunct Faculty member to teach the Strategy course in the Spring semester of 2014. This course will
focus on core strategy principles through the lens of corporate sustainability.
Bards MBA is one of a select group of programs globally that fully integrate sustainability into a
business curriculum. Bard students master the business case for sustainability, understanding how to
align profit with ecological and social mission. Faculty members teach during weekend intensive
residencies held once each month in Manhattan. In addition, they teach an on-line evening session
each week between the monthly residencies. The low residency format allows flexibility in residential
location.
MBA faculty members are expected to have earned a PhD, JD or MBA. Successful candidates will have
an established record of excellence in teaching.
