Associate Professor in Strategy & Entrepreneurship

The Ohio University Department of Management in the College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Associate Professor in Strategy & Entrepreneurship beginning in August 2015. We are looking for student-centered, research-active, innovative faculty members who would be able to teach a writing intensive, capstone course in Business Strategy. The selected candidate will also have secondary teaching responsibility in Entrepreneurship and, depending on qualifications, may also serve as the Associate Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship. In that role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the development of the Entrepreneurship curriculum, including the major offered to College of Business students and a Certificate offered to students from other colleges at Ohio University. All applicants must have the Ph.D. completed and a track record of research, teaching, and service appropriate for the rank of Associate Professor.
Ohio University's College of Business is accredited by the AACSB. We offer a BBA with a range of majors, all of whom must complete the Strategy capstone course. We also have a range of graduate programs that also require equivalent courses. The Management Department has three affiliated Centers: the Center for Entrepreneurship; the Center for International Business Education & Development; and the Walter Center for Strategic Leadership. Tenure track faculty have a teaching load of 5 courses per year, with typical section sizes of 40. Salaries for the appointment are competitive based on AACSB statistics and the candidate's credentials.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess a doctorate or equivalent degree in strategy from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution and a successful record of research in Strategy & Entrepreneurship. Minimum faculty experience of 7 to 10 years.
