The School of Economics and Management of the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen is seeking excellent candidates to fill the following academic positions:
- 2 ASSISTANT PROFESSORS in Innovation and Technology Management
Profile
The candidate should have a PhD in Entrepreneurship or Innovation /Technology management or Business and Management Engineering or equivalent, obtained in Italy or abroad and a good record of international scientific publications preferably in Innovation and Technology management.
Position
The positions offered are at the Assistant Professor Level (Junior University Researcher) in Management (SECS-P/08), with a focus on Innovation & Entrepreneurship / Technology management & transfer. This non tenure-track contract is a full-time position for a duration of 3 years.
The positions are embedded in the project of the university's knowledge platform. The knowledge platform is dedicated to the development of a framework and working structure for knowledge transfer between academia, firms and institutions. The workload will be equally split between collaboration on the platform development and research activities. The successful candidates will investigate the role of academic spin-off activities, technology transfer and the efficiency and effectiveness of different legal frameworks or investigate questions on innovation regimes, innovation management of small and medium-sized firms.
The salary is competitive.
The positions do not require teaching activities.
